Your Friendship is a Blessing
Friendships… What are they worth to you? Over these last few weeks of semi-isolation, like many of you, Richard and I have heard from friends across the world that we have not heard from in a while. Likewise, we have checked in with some to see how they were doing. Closer to home, believe it or not, we have even made new friends and I am not talking via online!
Let me back up for a moment though. As you read that first paragraph, some of you who do not know us may wonder who is writing this post…
Let me introduce to you Richard, my husband, and myself, Liz. Richard and I joined The Copper Coin team early in 2019 working with Susan stocking the website, doing the shipping, sending out the newsletters etc. Now we are taking a more prominent role on the social media platforms. Richard and I have been married for nearly 33 years. Whilst very much in love with each other we also love the Lord. Two out of five of our kids have already flown the nest with one already having given us four granddaughters. That leaves us still very busy raising the three younger ones. We look forward to getting to know you better as the days, months and years go on.
Returning to the importance of friendships, God did not create us to be loners. Think back to creation and Adam. God realized that it was not good for Adam to be alone and so created Eve. We need friends and relationships, ones that lift us up as well as challenge us to be better people i.e. iron sharpening iron. Let’s cherish and nourish the healthy friendships we have.
I just LOVE this Friendship Angel that we have on the store at this time. You can hang it on your wall, hall stand, in a window etc. etc. At only $14.95, featuring one of Susan’s glazed pennies, this makes a great gift for those special friends in your life.
